The organ at St Johns is in need of replacing. They are trying to raise money at the moment to replace their organ in about 2009 with a new organ. The present organ has no 16ft working stops, and many of the stops have several non working pipes. Most of the pedal pipes do not work and the pedals can only be used with the couplers.

The organ is still in regular use and still does organ concerts, but it is a challenge for anyone to get a good sound out of it. I went to the NSOS concert and turned for Simon. The NSOS concert was trying to raise money for organ lesson subsidies.
