The Church of St. Francis of Assisi, Welwyn Garden City

Robin Coxon was elected as the new president of the organ club and he allowed me to play the organ at The Church of St. Francis of Assisi, Welwyn Garden City

Paul playing the organ at St Francis of Assisi

At the AGM of the Organ Club, Robin Coxon allowed me to play the organ to some of the other members.

The organ was a two manual that was made from bits of other organs facing closure or demolition, and also some new pipe work.

The Organ at Ashridge Chapel

The organ makes a lovely sound . It has 5 swell stops, 9 great stops and 1 pedal stop

The organ is very unusual . The swell manual is very small about 3 octaves. The pedal board is also very small. The organ stops are very hard to use as they spring out andare kept in by small notches on the underside of the stop drawbar.
