Pachelbel's Canon in D

At the present time (January 23, 2007) I am learning Bach's Toccata and Fugue for the NSOS Concert. It didn't start out that way. I liked the piece and was listening to my Dad playing it and I thought that I could do better, so I had a go. Simon is helping me improve it and getting it faster.

Visit to St Pauls

On 26th Jan, we went to St Pauls Cathedral to listen to an organ spectacular. They played three organs. The biggest has over 7000 pipes all around the Cathedral. It was a 5 manual organ, and is the third biggest in the country, behind the Royal Albert Hall and Liverpool Cathedral. The smallest organ had about 100 tiny pipes. It was a one manual organ with 4 octaves, with about 7 stops.
