First stop my Home church of

St Mary's Hemel Hempstead.

I didn't need to play this organ as I had just finished my lesson on it. One of the former presidents, Colin Goulden, had a go when he arrived a bit early. It was great to hear. He made the organ sound so exciting. Simon told the memebers a little about the organ with John Shepherd telling us about the restoration. Simon showed off the organ by playing the Eb Major Prelude "St Annes" and I turned the pages. The other members then had a go on the organ and had a look around the organ loft.

The resident organist wasn't able to be there so it was just up to the members to play the organ.

The organ pipes were painted and stood out well from the white painted organ.
