On the 17th May 2008 I went with my Mum and Brother to St Albans Abbey to collect my Deans Chorister Award from the Dean of St Albans.
This is part of the RSCM voice for life Awards. I gained my medal in May 2007 and had to wait a full year to receive my certificate.
At a special evensong service all the medal winners were awarded with their medal certificates. The Dean presented the Deans Awards and the Bishop of Hertford presented the Bishops and other awards.
I felt very proud to be presented with my Deans Chorister Award by The Very Reverend Dr Jeffrey John, Dean of St Albans. I passed the Award with Merit.
